• Technical Committee executive member and communications chairperson - CSA Z462 - 08 - Workplace Electrical Safety Standard. Canada's first workplace electrical safety standard.
• Authored several articles for technical and OHS magazines on Lockout, Electrical Safety and the Hazards of Static Electricity in the Workplace.

• Provided training on the Hazards of Static Electricity in the Workplace for hundreds of Fire Prevention Officers across Ontario, including the Ontario Fire College and Ontario Municipal Fire Prevention Officers conference.

• Expert witness for various court cases in Ontario for Occupational Health and Safety charges to companies for both Lockout and Workplace Electrical Safety.
• Recipient of 2000 Industrial Accident Prevention Association award of Merit.
• Vice-President, Hamilton & District Electrical Contractors Association 2010 - 2011.
• Provided training to Ministry of Labour Inspectors and Engineers on electrical safety.
• Provided Lockout to chief engineers and officers while sailing on freighters throughout the Great Lakes.
